This special issue explores the evolving landscape of Transnational Education (TNE), focusing on sustainability, innovation, cultural pluralism, and new collaboration models. It explores models that ensure long-term sustainability and meaningful impact of TNE initiatives, aligning them with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to enhance access and equity. The issue addresses the transformative potential of emerging technologies in TNE, analysing how digital platforms can improve accessibility, flexibility, and scalability, while tackling the challenges of digital equity. It also examines strategies for promoting culturally dynamic partnerships in TNE collaborations. It also considers new TNE models in the context of geopolitical and socioeconomic shifts.

a) Sustainable and Equitable Partnerships in TNE:

  • Investigating models of TNE that promote long-term sustainability and meaningful impact on both home and host countries and institutions.
